I earned my BA in English with a concentration in Career Writing at San Jose State University where I am a legacy! My mom played basketball for the Spartans which inspired me to continue my education there. I earned my teaching credential and Masters Degree in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix. I have been married since 2008 and we have a young son, named Bo and a yellow lab called Rocco. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, spending time outside with my son and dog, yoga, and watching my 49ers. I love teaching 8th grade ELA and helping my students become the best communicators they can be!
